A memoir by the novelist, published the year before her death, covering the years from the Great War - during which she married Ernan Forbes-Dennis, up to their discipleship of Alfred Adler. It is a storied life, including encounters with Ezra Pound, whom she knew well in her early years, Ian Fleming, who attended their school at Kitzbühel, Nigel Dennis, their nephew, and numerous other 'poets, philosophers, scientists, Presidents and Prime Ministers'.
