Notes: Dodgson's selection, with the scarce dustjacket, is particularly notable for its striking variety of styles: from Raverat's brooding 'The Bolshevists', Rooke's sparingly modern 'Gates of Upper Dauphiné', Hagreen's fairy-tale 'The Tower', John Nash's naturalistic 'The Black Cat' and Greenwood's Palmeresque 'The Dale Road' to McKnight Kauffer's playfully abstract 'Flight', Wadsworth's geometric 'Yorkshire' and Gibbings' most famous 'vanishing line' works - 'Hamrun' and 'Clear Waters'.
