Notes: The same year, the same publisher and seemingly the same paper as 'The Invisible Man' - and included in the ads at rear of Wells's novel. This is not a football novel. It rather concerns literary theft, avenged by the victim's daughter. Its printed dedication is to Henry Irving. For such a prolific author, Burgin's works have a slim survival rate.
