Notes: With an inscription from the publisher to the half-title: 'Wilson Bey, with the compliments of Thos. Cook & Son'. 'Bey' being an honorific Arabic title, it is difficult to be absolutely firm on the recipient, but it is probably James Wilson, chief engineer to the Egyptian Government in the final decades of the century and before that of the Nile Steam-Towing Company.Early work by Budge, a commission from the publisher for their distribution to passengers.
