Notes: A scarce first edition, with the original dustjacket an unexpected attribute. The novel was the basis for the lost 1920 Rudolph Valentino film 'Passion's Playground'. Its story concerns a heroine, Mary Grant, who leaves behind her convent education for a wild time in Monte Carlo. The authors were husband and wife, Charles Norris and Alice Muriel - a partnership in which the latter was largely responsible for the actual writing.
