Description: brown ink, versals and end-of-paragraph scrolls drawn in liquid gold over alternating ochre and blue background, floriated outer borders ruled in red, divided in three sections: tendrils in liquid gold over dark red lake/ochre background; blue and gold acanthus leaves, blue thistles and a winged, hairy devil over white background; and leafy branch with pink flowers over golden background, verso a trifle yellowed, tiny trace of glue to extreme upper and lower gutter of recto, single leaf on vellum, in Latin, batârde, 17 lines per full page, (140 x 94mm).

Notes: [PRODUCED IN BOURGES AFTER JEAN COLOMBE?] An attractively decorated, well-margined vellum leaf, in excellent condition, from a Book of Hours most probably produced in France in the last quarter of the 15th century. It features most of the text of Psalm 96 (Vulgate) and the answer of the congregation.
