Notes: The copy of Edwin Waterhouse, with his attractive bookplate. Waterhouse was an eminent accountant, founder of the firm Price, Holyland & Waterhouse (later Price Waterhouse Cooper), and the brother of architect Alfred Waterhouse - the Waterhouses knew Robert Bridges, socialising together at the Savile Club, and with Bridges marrying Alfred's daughter Monica in 1884 a family connection was formed from the friendship.
