Romney Towndrow - one of only a few examples of his work in this medium, all of which are striking.

FIRST ENGLISH EDITION, publisher's small 'Presentation Copy' blind-stamp at head of title-page, pp. xi, 307, crown 8vo, original yellow cloth, backstrip and upper board lettered in red, publisher's device blind-stamped to lower board, slight lean to spine, a few spots to cloth, tail edge roughtrimmed, one or two spots to edges,dustjacket with a superb design by K. Romney Towndrow, slightly browned to backstrip panel with some light handling and a few faint marks to rear panel, a little nicked, very good
