The set of artist Eric Gill, a handful of volumes featuring his ownership inscription and bookplate; Gill's note to the first volume records the purchase from his friend Douglas Cleverdon's bookshop in Bristol in 1927.

1931, pp. [x], 303; [vi], 288; [viii], 396; [vi], 356; [x], 428; [vi], 395; [viii], 352; [vi], 384; [xii], 563; [x], 380; [x], 434, crown 8vo [two volumes slightly larger, as issued], original blue cloth, backstrips lettered in gilt, top edges blue, this faded in many instances, 4 vols with the ownership inscription in pencil of artist Eric Gill (1 & 2, at Capel-y-Ffin, Abergavenny, and 7 & 8, at Piggotts), vols 1 & 2 also with his self-designed bookplate, the first 9 vols from Gill's library and in uniform condition, slightly marked and worn with sunned backstrips, the last two volumes added (these in superior condition), good condition overall
