Rare Book
The copy of artist Barbara Bagenal (ne Hiles), a friend of Carrington from the Slade (and thereby later with Strachey), who assisted the Woolfs with their early printing and had relationships with Clive Bell, Saxon Sydney Turner, David Garnett and John Maynard Keynes. Her ownership inscription records the later purchase of this copy at a bookshop in Rye.
