Rare Book
A strident polemic issued in response to the 'Red Rags' volume (those being 'Essays of Hate from Oxford'), and upbraiding its various contributors.Harrisson attended Harrow School and Pembroke College, Cambridge, which he left after a year in order to join in ornothological expeditions of Oxford University; the publisher of this work was his old schoolfriend, then at Balliol College - early in the text he explains that he had offered it to Blackwell's for publication, of which, he was informed, there was 'not the faintest chance'.Harrisson was subsequently among the founders of Mass-Observation.
