Though in poor condition, the work is scarce and this copy has notable provenance: Barbara Bagenal (ne Hiles) was a member of the Bloomsbury Group - an artist, most closely associated with Carrington (with whom she attended Slade). She helped the Woolfs in the early years of their printing.
