Rare Book
An unusual and rather charming book; the printed dedication is to Perdita, the daughter of H.D. and Cecil Gray (and subsequently Bryher's adopted daughter following her marriage to Kenneth Macpherson). The author's descriptions of the various countries in this 'big continent', focusing largely on their fauna but also sometimes describing their landscape or characteristics of the population, seem to be addressed to the six year old also.
