11: A decorative tour-de-force, and arguably the finest example of Morris' calligraphic work, employing the not inconsiderable talents of the Morris workshop (Edward Burne-Jones, Fairfax Murray, George Wardle etc.) to create, in 1870, the perfect gift for Georgiana Burne-Jones. The book itself was acquired from the family by the Victoria and Albert Museum in 1952, and this Scolar Press publication was the first to attempt to reproduce the highly decorative work (the deluxe limitation number representing one copy for each year of Morris' life), the quality of the facsimile worthy of the original book.
