St Annagymnasiums, und trotz seiner Kränklichkeit wirkte er in dieser Stellung sehr anregend und fördernd. 'wissen schaft, Frommigkeit, Vaterlandsliebe und der rechte Glaube waren die Ziele seines Unterrichts.' Viele seiner Schüler, mit denen er die schwersten griechischen und lateinischen Schrift steller las, konnten mit promovierten Magistern wetteifern. Er starb am 19. Juni 1554, wie sein Epitaph in der St. Anna kirche meldet.
