Ryenn has been through alot in her last 16 years of life. From losing her mother during the birth of her baby sister to raising her sister and caring for her heartbroken father, she does the best she can. Until one evening, she awakens to find that her entire life has burnt down around her; literally. After a house fire kills off the remainder of her family and running through the Forbidden Forest, Ryenn awakes in a new, unfamiliar kingdom. A Fae kingdom. Fae and mortals have been at odds for many centuries and Ryenn grew up to know they were not to be trusted. That is, until she finds out that not only is she also a Fae, but she is in fact the rightful Heir to the Emerald Throne. Now she must learn the ways of this foreign kingdom with its foreign citizens, juggle new confusing relationships and deal with the fact that she has some of the most powerful abilities the kingdom has seen in over a millenia. After usurping the throne due to birthright, Ryenn makes quite a few enemies; some who are dead set against her success as an Heir. Through being pushed both physically and mentally, Ryenn isn't sure she'll be able to come out on the other side or that she will make a very good queen. One thing after the other, she is tested and pushed. What will be her breaking point?
