Captain Antonio is a fine man and an excellent sailor but he is the enemy of Yeken, a Dark Master working for the Evil Emperor. As a result Antonio loses everything he has. He is rescued from certain death by Max, a Great Celestial Dog sent to protect Antonio.
Antonio only wishes to mind his own business and sail the beautiful ship, Transom, placed in his care... but fate has other plans. The brave captain finds himself faced with all manner of adventures, upon which he meets many who need his help. Slowly he regains all that he has lost. His life is unexpectedly filled with love, laughter and joy as he becomes the guardian of a crew of gifted children on board Schooner Transom. And all the while he is inadvertently upholding Goodness and Truth.
However, Captain Antonio does not know that he holds the key to the very treasure that could turn the tide, destroy Yeken and help the True Emperor be restored to his rightful place...
