Pierogies are sconsidered to be national dishes in Poland, Ukraine and Slovakia. The shape of pierogies is often semicircular, but they are also made in the form of a triangle. The fillings depend on the wish of the chef. They can be filled with meat, vegetables, cheese, ham, fruits and so on. Pierogies are often served with toppings such as sugar, chocolate syrup, melted butter, sour cream, onion and so on.
Today Pierogi are loved all over the world! Now I want to share a wide variety of recipes with you, some dating back to the Middle Ages. There are many modern twists and variations to Pierogi, however my aim is to provide you with traditional and authentic recipes. Each and every recipe is easy to follow and can be simply recreated at home.
