Publisher's Synopsis

After World War II a large number of Nazis changed their identities and ran away from the aftershock caused by their crimes against Jewish, communists, gypsies, homosexuals, and regime detractors. Some of them kidnapped minors and stole their last names to use them in their passports, claiming themselves to be compelled victims of Nazism as a way to escape Germany intact. Two of them landed in the country where this story takes place. There, everything they did was for power and wealth leaving permanent tracks of death and grief among the natives of that land. Only the greatness and mettle of one American woman was able to face them with a harsh and bloody battle, pushing their cruel and raging ambitions to stop but, unintentionally, leading the valley where they lived to the horror of a war between brothers from the same nation.
