Part one of the "Red War" finds Lanolas along with Ederelf Chon, the violet wizard Venas, Elya and her love Estelyn along with Teuton giant Golliath seeking out the whereabouts of Lanolee and Elray the Yellow within the easterly lands as Darcos wages war against the easterly realms of the Kappa dwarves and Morottan giants.
