A bright copy of the scarce first issue of this early work by Heaney - the V&A only in COPAC, the NLI and five more in the US.With the exception of 'Inisheer' and 'The dealing man', all of Heaney's text has been set to music. Three of the twelve short poems were included in a subsequent educational work on the Aran Islands, but the remainder receive their only appearance here.
