Publisher's Synopsis
The Book collects 100 poems written by more than forty British and American big poets, including Geoffrey Chaucer, William Shakespeare, George Gordon Byron, John Keats and Alfred Edward Houseman. Begging from Geoffrey Chaucer (1340 1400 ), Father of British poems and ending by Alfred Edward Houseman (1869 1936), a modernist poet, these poems reflect the gradual evolution of the schools of poems and change of styles, and show the features and spirit of different periods.
