Publisher's Synopsis

The Guild takes you into the depths of a massively reduced human population in a bleak future, some years after World War III. Some wish to control, and others wish to exploit, what's left. Two women, Mary and Samantha, unknowingly begin a journey of epic proportions after a ruthless gang destroy their home and lives in Middle America. Stumbling into a recruitment center for The Guild they take the tests and are split up as they begin their journey west to a new life. Mary is told her life long friend Sam has died. Devastated Mary quickly rises to the top of the ranks of the Guild taking her vengeance out on anyone and everyone she feels responsible. Stumbling into her lost love the two reconcile and plan a daring escape. Their plans rapidly accelerate as the Guild is attacked by outside forces. The two manage to escape with top secret plans during the attack. With the help of a small group who oppose the Guild and what it stands for Mary and Sam start their dangerous journey west. This journey takes them across the Rocky Mountains and through Utah, parts of the desert southwest and a devastated California as they search for safety and protection in the northwest from a Rebel group who wishes to restore order in the United States. Along the way they discover friendship, love and sacrifice as Mary carries with her the Guilds most top secret plans that many would kill to get their hands on. They are thwarted at every turn as the Guild expands its reach and factions go to war to fight over what's left of post apocalyptic America. You will feel the bleakness of the future as their adventure continues. War, strife and danger abound at every turn. The Guild will suck you in till its dramatic conclusion
