Publisher's Synopsis
BRUSCO is a giant wolf living on a very high and mysterious two-sided mountain in Central Italy, many more than one hundred years ago. His best human friend, GIOVANNI, is a nine-year-old boy from the nearby village who loves his family very much but, though a good boy, is sometimes not the most obedient child in the village. These tales are about their devoted friendship with each other and with Suzie, Giovanni's special and brave friend, Pedrone the quiet Centaur, and with Jubileo the most awesome snake. They will play often and joyfully while teasing each other, but they will also face dangerous monstrosities, each more challenging than the last. Will they be able to save each other, as well as the entire village? Along the way Giovanni and Suzie will discover strange truths about themselves, the people they love, their strange mountain, and finally about what lies beyond our world.
