Publisher's Synopsis
Hurricane Boris churns its way through the Sargasso Sea and blasts up the East Coast of America, halting ferry services and trapping visitors on Cardigan Island. When operations resume, two brothers, a crew of four, an artist, and a murderer step onboard the Avello, headed for the mainland-and unaware that a giant and ravenous horror from the depths is in pursuit. At 6 p.m. on Saturday night, the Thirteenth of June, the ferry leaves Cardigan Island, thirty-six miles off the coast of Massachusetts. Twenty minutes later, it collides with the sea monster, and not all who board the ferry will make it off alive.
