Mental health has been one of the most important aspects of human being. Positive mental health can be considered as a very important component for achieving success, reaching to the desired goal set by the individuals in their life. Among all the mental illnesses, Schizophrenia has been considered as most devastating illness in one's life. Approximately 1 percent of the population suffers from this disorder which usually begins before age of 25. This is a long term illness affecting persons irrespective of the class, caste, region or gender. Schizophrenia is the most common disabling mental illness with a poor prognosis and is also accompanied with significant deficits post treatment. A substantial body of research suggests that in a caring role, the care givers experience considerable ongoing burden and psychological distress.
