One of the scarcer titles amongst his major works, this partly accounted for by a large proportion of its original print-run having apparently been lost at sea - a nice copy.The author's assessment of the injurious effect of the reparations imposed on Germany via the Treaty of Versailles - the objections outlined here led to his resignation from the Treasury, who had sent him as a delegate to the Paris Peace Conference.
