Publisher's Synopsis
As a child, I was considered a Navy Brat because my father was career military, so we moved about every 2 to 3 years from one military base to another, from sea to shining sea, from New Jersey to Hawaii. This alphabet book is a result of my vivid imagination working overtime. The idea came from many hours of staring at the faded, dog-eared alphabet letters that hung above the chalkboard in my classroom. I am now a retired art teacher, but I still think of those crazy letters and how they inspired me. Now I have time to work on the letters to bring them to life. The alphabet letters are original drawings by me and colored with colored pencils also by me.Now that they are complete, I have spent my life thinking about them, and I want to share them with the world......providing the world has a sense of humor and a love of art.Mickey Mapstone.
