Publisher's Synopsis
When Alena and her crewmates are captured by a more advanced alien race on their return from an exploratory mission, they are stunned to find themselves in the dehumanizing situation of being placed in captivity in an underwater zoo. Their misery is magnified when they become part of a breeding program along with an assortment of other humanoid species.
Alena and her companions of varied alien races must learn to live and work together, despite their prejudices and fears, in order to escape their tentacled captors. Betrayed by one of her own, Alena is forced to rely on Tiernan, the attractive amber-orange eyed alien, who holds a terrible secret that could mean Alena's eventual ruin.
