Publisher's Synopsis

Libretto is an opera-formatted novel with three POVs. Sue doesn't have an opera voice, but loves Pavorotti and opera. Her husband, Vic, loves her enough to overlook the theatrical version of life that Sue lives in. Vic is a black ops army guy who leaves for an undercover operation, building her fear for his survival. Vic sends her a dog to love her while he's away. The dog, named Luchie, leads her to the discovery of Antonio, a dog walker avoiding the gang life in his Mexican neighborhood. She learns of his incredible voice and offers to fund voice coaching. From Vic's POV we follow his risky mission. Vic's return with PTSD raises serious marriage problems for the young couple. Antonio's POV shows his attempts to avoid the gang life and his concerns for his foster siblings.
