The program used is called Lotus 1-2-3 and in appearance it is much like the spreadsheets used by accountants. The objectives of these materials are to provide basic instruction in the use of Lotus 1-2-3 and enhance the student's understanding of the accounting subject matter through solving computer-based problems.;The first section introduces a number of computer concepts and associated vocabulary. In the second section some of the basics of operating the computer and maintaining programs are explained.
