Anna and Lisa Gu, talented authors and illustrators of 12 years old, are identical twins living in Allen, TX. As animal lovers, they started writing chapter books about animals in third grade.
Smokey is a cat from a big royal family. Sadly, he doesn't even remember his father who left the family before he was born. An altruistic king, Claw left for the city in order to lead the abandoned city cats. Shadow, his brother, also left the family and became King, but only because he was power-hungry. In order to rescue all the city cats, some of them brainwashed, and themselves, constantly attacked by King Shadow and his cat army, Smokey, his sister, Midnight, and all his animal friends take incredible challenges to fight back. Knowing the only way to get rid of the evil king is to find a replacement, and only at the very end, they realize the perfect one to replace Shadow is among themselves. Who is it? Check it out.
