A metal tin box set of full-colour greeting cards featuring vintage Santa Claus designs. This collection of vintage Santa images includes 20 cards - two each of 10 different designs. The set contains 20 full colour cards and 21 red envelopes, packaged inside a full colour, reusable, metal tin box showcasing a striking image of Santa. During the Golden Era of Christmas Cards (1898-1918), those featuring Santa were by far the most popular. The rare examples contained herein utilised a resplendent, German printing technique known as chromolithography. Each season, both young and old, 'oohed' and 'ahhed' over the wintry holiday's new and colourful offerings.
