This is the story of Roxy's daughter, Rita, carrying on her own story of her life after the telling of her mother's. She also grows up in a world of prejudice but the town is humbler after knowing the wonders and heroism of Roxanne Felicia Fox. She gives her perspective of her love for Blaze, her discovery of magic, and getting back home after a war in Alaska. She meets Eva, an undercover police fox desperate to solve the mystery of brutal murders of innocent townsfolk when she arrives back in her hometown.
