Triple bill of crime feature spin-offs from US TV detective series. In 'Return of Ironside' (1993) retired detective Robert Ironside (Raymond Burr) agrees to temporarily fill in as Chief Inspector of the Denver Police Department after the death of the current Chief. Ironside ends up overseeing a case involving his friend's daughter, Suzanne Dwyer (Perrey Reeves), who is accused of murdering her boyfriend, Mike Quinn (Jeff Kaake). Ironside is convinced of the girl's innocence, but the evidence suggests otherwise. In 'Exiled' (1998) out of favour homicide detective Mike Logan (Christopher Noth) sees a chance to revive his career when he discovers the body of a murdered prostitute in the East River. Though there are few clues to go on, the arrival of the dead woman's beautiful twin sister, Georgeanne (Nicole Ari-Parker), spurs Logan on and the pair are soon on the trail of a psychotic serial killer. In 'The Return of Sam McCloud' (1989) ex-Marshall turned New Mexico Senator, Sam McCloud (Dennis Weaver), is fighting to push through a tough new environmental law. He is opposed by William Maitland (Robert Beatty), owner of a powerful chemical company. When repeated attempts are made on his life, resulting in the death of his niece, McCloud begins to suspect that the culprit is Maitland and decides to take a close look at what his company is up to...
