This book is designed for those new to teaching first aid and have no idea where to start, or existing teachers who want to implement project based learning. The course was created to help students in a first aid class reach the higher levels of learning. It is essentially a daily lesson plan linked to learning theory and first aid skills. This book is a detailed account of the combination of pedagogy and andragogy approaches to teaching. It is worded to provide a day-to-day account of how the class is implemented. Associated lectures, lectures notes, quizzes, and application day templates are linked through the book. It is intentionally worded as if the author is directly speaking to the reader. The class and teaching methods were created based on twenty years of teaching in higher education. It is the evolution of successes, failures, stumbles backward and steps forward.
