Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from New Materials for Control of the Mealy Plum Aphid
Control of the mealy plum aphid has been studied at the California Agricultural Experiment Station since 1928. In Bulletin 606, spraying with coal-tar distillates was presented to the growers as a cheap and effective method of control on the basis of experiments conducted by the senior author prior to 1936. The chief disadvantage is that tar sprays are caustic to men. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
