My name is Hicham. I'm 43 years old, andin 9 months, I've lost a total of 60 kg!I have spent more than half my life notcaring about myself! I mean that mylifestyle and eating habits have beenanything but healthy for my health!For e.g., I was able to consume up to 8 litersof sugar soft drinks per day on average, yes, I mean, 8 liters! Iknew that my natural weight should bearound 85 kg for my height and that I shouldweigh a maximum of around 110 kg at most;that's what I thought in any event. When 142kg appeared on the balance, it was the shockof my life! I couldn't have believed that! 142kg, almost twice the weight I was expectedto weigh!And there, I decided to go to war againstmyself at that precise moment! I was a greatsportsman in my youth, so sport was notunknown to me! And it's as if that youngHicham had regained control; it was acritical mission for me! I knew that I would end up making the front page of an obituaryby going down this road.So it was at that very moment that it allchanged for me! My mind had this mentalitythat I like to call the mindset of survival!
