M.I.V.1 chronicles the life of a drug lord, his business, and his family. Frederick Patterson, or F.P., rules the streets and drug business of Cleveland. Together with his brother, Tony, and best friend, Angel, F.P. builds an empire that supplies large doses of Cocaine and Heroin to the entire district. Despite his infamous reputation, F.P. is a man of good qualities. He is in fact, on his way to leave the group and live a normal life. But a sudden turn of events leads him on a different path, directly to life behind bars. Destiny Carmichael, a Corrections Officer, faces the possibility of losing her job after engaging in a relationship with an inmate. But she is in love with F.P. and he loves her more than any other woman he has met. Giving birth to twin boys, Destiny chooses to move away and take one of her sons with her, leaving the other behind with F.P.'s sister. Years pass, and Finesse and Polish, F.P. and Destiny's sons grow to become fearsome names in the drug business. Reunited with their father, Finesse and Polish become even more powerful and cunning in the world of the drug trade. But old enemies lurk in the shadows, waiting for the perfect time to pounce on the three. And in their game, only the strong survives.
