Perhaps, as in all general expressions, there is a certain degree of truth in this, and Where the attention is distracted by con?icting engagements, the mind disturbed by clashing pursuits, there cannot be that concentration of energy, thought, and application, so necessary to attain distinction in a science difficult as the law, with its volu minous accompaniments of precedents details.
