A rightly ordered and healthy marriage displays or pictures the gospel (Eph. 5:22-33). As the world around us gets more and more confused as to what marriage is, this gospel-displaying property of marriage becomes even more important. This is especially true in the church and among pastors. The world should be able to look into a church and see something remarkably distinct. That said, we must be careful that the Bible constrains our understanding of marriage in general and the role of a pastor's wife in particular. This 9Marks Journal seeks to do just that.
