Romantic comedy in which a newlywed marriage counsellor embarks on a quest to save her parents' stuttering marriage. Life should be perfect for Ava (Mandy Moore). Having just married the love of her life, Charlie (Kellan Lutz), she is looking forward to domestic bliss. However, when her parents, Bradley (James Brolin) and Betty (Jane Seymour), announce that they plan to end their 30-year marriage, Ava is so disturbed by the news she puts her own life on hold and sets out to reconcile her toughest counselling couple yet.
