Publisher's Synopsis
Take a trip to New Orleans where a car dealer, Leonard DeGrasso, is brutally murdered. His body was dumped into a bayou of the Atchafalaya watershed. LeDuc and Johnson, automotive dealer consultants have been hired to manage the dealership until it can be sold. Forces are at work to prevent the dealership from becoming profitable so the business will be sold cheap.
A security guard is killed, Wolf LeDuc is mugged and nearly killed in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The attorney who hired Wolf's company is viciously attacked and left for dead. Black 4X4 pick-up trucks ordered on a fleet account are stolen right off the lot. Business accounts don't add up and money is missing.
Wolf LeDuc reunites with his Cajun roots from his father's side. He meets his spunky Cajun cousin, Annette Dupart, a graduate of Louisiana University, working on an MBA and her CPA. Wolf hires her to help run the DeGrasso dealership.
Chases through the French Quarter, a Mudfest, an airboat chase through bayou channels, dealing with meth-heads and gun runners give Wolf and Annette a case of Le' Bayou Bluz.
