Publisher's Synopsis
Here is the second in a new series of annual supplements to the valued Index Kewensis, formerly issued only every five years. The present volume meets the need for more rapidly available current information. As with the five-yearly supplements, it includes information on new and changed names of seed-bearing plants at the level of family and below. For the first time entries are also given an appendix for ferns and fern allies. The closing date for entries in this volume was December, 1987.
