Vernon Sewell directs this classic British crime drama starring John Slater. The film follows long-distance truck driver Johnny (Slater), who becomes embroiled in a murder investigation after picking up an attractive female hitch-hiker who turns up dead after the two part ways. Johnny, who, it seems, was the last person to see the young woman alive, goes on the run from the authorities and tries his hardest to bring the real killer to justice. How will he fare?
