Publisher's Synopsis
Private Detective, J.T. Stone is hired to assist in the defense of the widow's son when the mayor's son is murdered. Political pressure is predominant in this death penalty case. His investigation ultimately places his girlfriend in a life or death situation which makes Stone question the depth of his commitment.
