The present research aimed to determine the relationship between the level of satisfaction of the hospitalized patient and nursing care in the Hospital José Soto Cadenillas, Chota - 2017. Relational study, non-experimental, cross-sectional design. We worked with 80 patients, the satisfaction level scale and the scale on nursing care were applied. The results obtained were: 58.7% of the participants of female sex, in marital status 36.3% were cohabitants, 33.8% had primary school education, 93.7% of the patients were moderately satisfied in terms of the human dimension, 91.3%, in the timely dimension and 63.7% in the safe dimension, Regarding nursing care, 58.7% of patients stated that the care was regular. The relationship between the level of satisfaction and nursing care showed that 91.2% were moderately satisfied and 52.5% stated that the nursing care was regular. In conclusion: no statistically significant relationship was found between the level of satisfaction and nursing care in hospitalized patients (p > 0.05), and the researcher's hypothesis could not be corroborated.
