Publisher's Synopsis

Double bill of British crime dramas from the early 1960s. In 'The Hand' (1960) three British troops - Corporal George Adams (Bryan Coleman), Private Mike Brodie (Reed De Rouen) and Captain Roberts (Derek Bond) - are captured during World War II and tortured by the Japanese. When Adams and Brodie refuse to give up information, their right hands are cut off as punishment. Years later a murder takes place in London and as Inspector Munyard (Ronald Leigh-Hunt) investigates he discovers that the victim is missing a hand... In 'The Ambush of Leopard Street' (1962) a London crook puts a gang together in order to carry out a final heist before retiring for good. The armed thiefs prepare for a hold-up as they target a shipment of diamonds.
