Publisher's Synopsis
Texas never had a law against being stupid. Young Trace LaFon counted that as a good thing. Otherwise, at 17, he'd never have been able to join the Texas Rangers. Along with a partner, Xavier Falcon, the two become involved in the very first law enforcement action of the famous lawmen.
GUNS ALONG THE RIOS is the first of this pair's adventures as both they and the Rangers grow into the men they become on the Texas frontier. They gain experience and a good mixture of cowboy wisdom (humor) as they become a part of what is known as "The Cortina Wars" along the Rio Grande River in 1859.
