Chase's peaceful afternoon at anchor is abruptly shattered when an old friend appears, telling him of a missing treasure hunter. Rikki Talens ventured upriver on a wild goose chase, and now she has vanished without a trace.
Determined to find her, Chase pulls up anchor and begins his search. As he ventures further upriver, Chase finds himself in the midst of a small army of men guarding something suspiciously in the woods.What could be so important that they would kill to keep it hidden?
